A great speech condemning Hitler and fascism from the first Charlie Chaplin “talkie.” Still powerfully relevant today.

You have to understand that he’s dressed like Hitler not to say that this is what Hitler said, but to satirize him and criticize the Nazi regime. When he says “machine men” he’s referring to the Nazi soldiers. Basically doing the opposite of him.
