The future arrives in October. Anything running on nVidia’s miniscule system-on-a-chip called Tegra can run for 25 days playing music constantly, or HD video – streamed live from the web, for 10 hours straight. Netbooks will be replaced with this. Smarthphones will have to adopt something like this (hello Apple’s acquisition of PA Semi for creating their own chips) in order to meet the power-hungry needs of modern computer use.

I will probably have a review of one of the tablet units up later this year if they’re out in the Fall with the other devices.
