This BBC 1 drama, Life on Mars, is off to a strong start – I just
finished the first episode. I'm not sure how the concept will work if
most of the episodes are in the past. But if every episode had the
detective time-jumping to solve every crime, that'd probably be
worse. I'll find out.
I wonder if the American version will be as successful as The Office…

>ERIK,I DISCOVERED THE BBC LIFE ON MARS BY ACCIVENT A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO. I LOVED IT ALOT! I WATCHED THE NEW AMERICAN VERSION LAST NIGHT AND I’M TOTALLY ENJOYING IT. WHY?? WHO KNOWS MAYBE THE SAME DUMB REASON I LIKE TRUE BLOOD ON SHOWTIME. YET I CAN’T BRING MYSELF TO LIKE THE AMERICAN OFFICE. WHY IS AMERICAN TV SO CONFUSING. LOVE,B

>wot?? the american office is like it’s own, funny animal. i’m sorry your black soul won’t allow you to indulge in its humour. you south african americans are so snooty.my boss, who’s british, doesn’t care for Steve Carrell either though, so you must have good taste like a british person (never call them european, very bad mistake i learned).wot wot?? you like tru blud, huh? i can’t stand that show, anna paquin is all uglied up in it. and that should be against the law.i’m guessing the american one succeeds because it has harvey keitel in it. i mean if he doesn’t radiate 70s, i don’t know who does.
