>McCain’s Acute Sense of Hypocrisy: Sturgis

07 Aug

John McCain was in Sturgis a few days ago trying to drum up support during the big biker rally. In his speech he derided Congress for taking a five-week vacation claiming that they should “get back to work.”

How ironic, coming from the senator who’s skipped the most votes of any other senator [Source: US Votes Database]. In fact, he missed a vote last year to ramp up solar and wind power and he missed a vote to repeal tax cuts for Big Oil. Both of these measures lost by one vote each.

Get to work? Get to work yourself you hypocrite.

McCain also mocked Obama for calling on Americans to keep their tires properly inflated, something that Charlie Crist, Arnold Schwarzenegger (both allies of McCain) and the US Department of Energy have already called for [Source: Fox News].

What are you really mocking, McCain? Intelligent solutions? Your own supporters? Both it would seem. So go out there, buddy, and rally some more bikers with ridiculous statements.
