The era of CD hoarding is over. I sold the last of my CDs this weekend and bought a Black 60GB iPod. I am free of the physical constraints of a medium-sized music collection. It’s all fits into my pocket now, along with all those downloaded clips, old after school specials (thanks, Dave and Archive.org) and all 9,215 of my pictures. I grew up in the digital era and it’s still amazing to me.
The rest of everyone else can’t be too far behind.

>Fine, sure, sell yer CD’s, see what I care. I’m gonna keep my CD’s around, you know why? Cuz it’s 5:38am right *now*, and I have nothing else to rant aboot. And what about the vinyl, records, the wax, man? Huh? That stuff will never go out of style, never be DRMed, or have Rootkits put on them. And not because it’s technilogically close to impossible, but because records are just *that* cool.oh jeeze, I think I just ran out of rant…oh jeeze, I think that I just ranted myself…oh jeeze, I totally got my rant on…oh jeeze, I totally got busted ranting in public, how embarrased was I?…etc
