>Chronic-WHAT-cles of Narnia

>

Ok, this is all over the place but I had to post it since only Drew probably caught it: This video is from a recent episode of SNL. It’s a rap about going to see Chronicles of Narnia. The real significance, though, is that Samberg from The Lonely Island comedy group who did the Stork Patrol rap (which if you’ve ever had me show you things on my computer, you’ve seen). As noted a couple of other places, this means SNL is willing to pull from “online-only” talent instead of traditional comedians. Hope there’s more where that came from, if so I may start watching SNL again.

>A Funny Commercial

>

This commercial from somewhere in Asia amused me, but it is 4:30 in the morning so don’t expect a lot if you’re watching this at a more reasonable hour.

>Everyone will want Mono

>

It’s like a game that Raul would create: the thingy keeps firing like crazy, you push the button to make it stop.

Premise: color floats around on the screen, explode it so that you can cover the black background.

Experience: Like drugs…so I’m told. Very cool feeling. Being able to listen to your own music is a big plus.

>C. Erickson

My frend, Corrie Erickson (no relation), makes some nice art. This
piece hangs at the previously mentioned eating establishments of eating
establishments, Hogan Brothers and is going for $80. A fair price if
you ask me.

>Whitie at the MoA

>

In case anyone was looking for him, Whitie was at the Mall of America
the day after Christmas. This is his truck with the signature license
plate. Come on, Whitie, true rednecks wouldn’t be caught dead such a
modern commercial establishment what business could you possibly have
had there?

>Downtown Northfield

It’s hard to make out but it really is a beautiful site: a historic
downtown al dressed in snow and festive lighting.
