>Kiss Me Deadly (1955)

>

This movie has one of the best stories for film noir that I have *ever* seen. It drags in places but only for a bit and it is so worth it to stick out those parts. It has the coolest pay-off at the end in terms of finding out what it is that everyone dies for throughout the movie.

If you like science fiction, film noir, or just really interesting stories, I promise you’ll like this movie.

>Man, Those Pigeons Sure Are Fast

I just used the new Google desktop search and I am impressed. I don’t think the search for ‘computer’ which yielded 244 results even took a second. Wow.

Microsoft is screwed, they’re so far behind.

The best one of these is the Pink Floyd one. It’s also the only one I believe was intentional too. Rather than some hidden satanic message I think that these are really just the result of some creative person listening to them A LOT and finding something somewhat coherant that sounds close. Seriously, listen to them without the lyrics displayed first, you won’t get ANY of them (except for maybe the word “satan” in Stairway).

I was surprised to see Britney Spears on there though — OH GOSH! I just saw lyrics for that one! That’s hilarious. That one’s not even imaginative. But it’s funny…btw that pic is unrelated. Well it’s related to the topic…oh, you get it.

>Two-Toed’s Life and Film Canned

>

It’s too bad but Tommy Trialdo, the gangster whose blog I linked to before and whose life was the basis for a lot of stuff in “Goodfellas” has been killed. It apparently happened on the 27th of September according to Quentin Tarantino over on his blog. Tarantino has decided not to make a movie in light of this despite the widow’s permission to do so.

It turns out Two-Toes was shot before giving a speech to youth about the dangers of crime. Now we know the real life ending to “Goodfellas.”

It’s interesting that I can’t find this reported on *anywhere* on the web. No amount of Googling seems to be able to find an article on it.
