>This is both a praise for the Sony Vaio Type U and ICube, the site selling it. ICube sells things to the US market that aren’t released here yet but may be readily availible elsewhere like in Japan for instance.
The Sony Vaio Type U’s are sub-notebook computers. These things make TOTAL sense for people like myself who juggle between a PDA and a Tablet PC (or a regular, BORING laptop I suppose, if you’re living in the stone age). I love my Tablet but perhaps this little thing would satisfy all my portable computing needs. Especially for web use and reading in general. I also especially like the Mini-disc style remote that works with it, I am an old Mini-disc geek and loved the remotes. I refuse to buy a remote for my iPod because it’s so vastly inferior to Sony’s design.
Anyways, check this thing out, it’s at least nifty looking.
